Nonni’s Biscotti Makes the Cookie Aisle a Little Sweeter
~Number One Selling Biscotti Launches Two New Innovative Flavors~

Tulsa, OK. (March 10, 2008) – Nonni’s Food Company, maker of Nonni’s Biscotti, announced the launch of two new biscotti recipes: Caramel Latte and Mint Cioccolati.

Caramel Latte biscotti caters to coffee lovers with the great taste of a specialty coffee drink and a boost of caffeine. The light, crispy treat combines the flavor of a dark roast coffee, frothy milk and creamy caramel. Mint Cioccolati offers one of the most desired flavors among specialty cookie consumers1. It features the classic Originali Biscotti dipped in gourmet bittersweet chocolate, now baked with a refreshing mint flavor.

“Both products contain all natural ingredients and maintain a light, crunchy texture with a delicately sweet taste that biscotti lovers have come to expect from the Nonni’s brand,” said Matt Duffy, Nonni’s Biscotti marketing manager. “Each new flavor is also unique as they are the first-of-their-kind to be introduced into the biscotti marketplace. Carmel Latte and Mint Cioccolati biscotti both offer a rich taste that is ideal for dunking and are delicious enough to eat on their own,” said Duffy.

Caramel Latte and Mint Cioccolati offer consumers the rich taste they crave, without the fat and calories. The Caramel Latte flavor has 3.5 grams of fat and 110 calories per serving, while the Mint Cioccolati flavor has 4 grams of fat and 110 calories per serving.

Nationally, the premium cookie category has gained 23 percent1 at current value over the past 5 years, with the Nonni’s brand continuing to increase sales behind a strong consumer base. Its sophisticated flavor and on-trend packaging have helped this brand achieve a sales velocity per item greater than any other specialty brand on the market.

“The continued success of Nonni’s Biscotti is a result of our ongoing dialogue with the consumer, which helps us anticipate and meet their needs for flavor, portability and taste,” said Duffy. “Due to unprecedented growth and consumer demand, Nonni’s Biscotti is expanding our line to include these delicious new flavors.”
